The University Center for Health Sciences (CUCS) is a unique project of its kind, designed for specialized healthcare and as a teaching hospital for students from the Universidad Anáhuac, who are guided by qualified specialists from the same institution. Its hospital program is complemented with facilities for teaching and research that in practice acts as an extension of the university itself.
The hospital has a homely and friendly feel to help create a more agreeable atmosphere for patients and doctors. The volumes are designed around a central hospitalization area, flanked by two lower bodies which offer terraced space, which patients can use both physically and as somewhere to look out on.
